Explore the Dolomiti Superski
Part of the grandiose ski area Dolomiti Superski, Alta Badia boasts a strategic location to explore it far and wide. With your skis on and a Dolomiti Superski ski pass in your pocket, you can reach Val Gardena, Val di Fassa and Arabba along the famous circuit of Sellaronda. The First World War Tour leads, instead, from Alta Badia towards the slopes of Marmolada, Civetta and Cortina d'Ampezzo. A free ski bus also connects Alta Badia with the ski resort of Kronplatz.
Those who are fond of Alpine skiing and snowboarding, will find in Alta Badia a network of runs that extend for total 130 km, varying in length and difficulty. There is no lack of slalom and freestyle areas, united by the Movimënt project. Numerous opportunities await ski mountaineering (ski touring) enthusiasts, while the most famous destination for freeride is, certainly, Val Mezdì, a gorge in the Sella massif.
In addition to the Alpine ski runs, Alta Badia has 30 km of trails prepared for Nordic skiing. Charming are the snowshoe tours through the untouched Alpine landscapes. Those who prefer more fun than efforts, can enjoy exciting toboggan descents and sleigh rides. Children will be captivated by the various playgrounds on the snow, including the Dolomites Fun Park on top of Piz la Ila.
